Supported Charities

St. Mark’s supports a number of charities, and these are reviewed every year. The PCC has pledged 5% of our income to support up to eight charities.

In 2022-23 we are making donations to:

• Christians Against Poverty
• Croydon Drop-In
• Family Lives
• Off The Record YOuth Counselling Croydon
• Partnership for Children
• South East Cancer Help Centre
• USPG
• Welcare

Funds for our supported charities come from events, special collections, donations, and our Christmas charities funds come from collections at our Christmas communion services, the Carol service, and the Crib service.

The collection at the Christingle service, and the contents of the savings boxes, go in their entirety to the Children’s Society.
