St. Mark’s Parish Church


St. Mark’s Parish Church is open every day from 9.00 am until 4.00 pm for visitors and private prayer.

Morning prayer is said at 9:15 am on Tuesdays, and at 9.00 am on Fridays.

On Sundays there are two regular services:

8.00 am: on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Sunday each month. Said Holy Communion from the Book of Common Prayer in the Lady Chapel (Services on the 2nd and 4th Sundays are at St. Swithun's).

9.15 am: Sung Eucharist. Family Communion with crèche. Junior Church for children aged 4 – 11 years during term time.

All-Age Eucharist with Uniformed Organisation parade is held on Candlemas, Father’s Day and Harvest Festival: details of the dates for this year are on the ‘What’s On’ listing.

Coffee is served after this service.

The ‘What’s On’ listing also holds information about major festivals and other services.

Holy Communion is said on Wednesday mornings at 9.30 am at St. Swithun's.
